The lock comprises a ring (20) which encloses the connection (3), and can move relative to it. The ring should be slotted out (21) between inside and outside so that the plug-in part of the fluid line (9) passes through a first slot sector (22) as directed towards the plug-in hole (7). A second slot sector (23) joined to and is narrower than the first so that when it is lined up with the hole, part of the ring engages the inserted part's plug's (12) stop face (16), preferably grasping round this face so as to prevent the plug from being pulled out. The ring has a third slot sector (24) connecting the other two which at one point limits a narrow passage (25). This passage is narrower than the plug, but the passage walls spread resiliently apart to admit the plug initially. The ring itself should be made of glass-fibre reinforced plastics and encloses the connection, its slots being offset from one another round the ring.
