<p>A toilet device with a movable water trap is characterised in that the toilet bowl (2) is provided with a water trap (8) which pivots in a manner similar to a crankshaft about a horizontal axis (16) which is common to the horizontal outlet (4) of said bowl, to the front portion (7) of the water trap and to the cylindrical discharge duct (14). In a stand-by state thereof, the mid-plane of the water trap is at an angle relative to the vertical mid-plane of the toilet, said water trap being held in this position by a counterweight. The water trap is tilted to a horizontal position by the accumulation of a certain amount of liquid therein.</p> |
