FIELD: purification of sewage and utilization of carbon-nitrogen4-bearing solid household wastes with biogas production during anaerobic fermentation for heating, cooking, water heating in houses remote from heat and power supply nets. SUBSTANCE: methane apparatus has horizontal body with vertical partitions, that form acid, neutral, alkaline, methane fermentation sections with gas cavities in upper part of body and alternating windows for substratum passing from charging device to discharging device; mixing device with horizontal shaft, that has drive and blades. Horizontal shaft of mixing device is shifted relatively body of apparatus axis and acid fermentation section has perforated cylinder, that through hydraulic gate is linked with charging device with drive.
