The reinforcement device includes a fixing plate at one end for mounting on a ski by assembly screws. The fixing plate has near at least one screw at least one claw (27) which projects under the lower top face of the plate for anchoring in the top layer of the ski when the screw is screwed into same.The claw can be supported by a small metal plate (20) fitted on the fixing plate and having an opening for the screw. The edge of the claw is aligned transversally. The claw can be formed by local deformation of the small metal plate. The claw can be supported by a socket holding the screw
