Supervision and control of thermal spraying processes

The process comprises supervision and control of thermal spraying processes used for coating the surface of substrates by highly heated inorganic particles serving as the coating material. A surface temperature of the substrate (3) is measured as a parameter of the coating mass or thickness. Its deviations from a target value are used to alter at least one process parameter influencing the coating mass or thickness.
