Discoid knife with integral handle and blade for use esp. in kitchen

The knife consists of a disc (12) with part of its edge, preferably 120 degrees, formed into a blade (14) and has holes (16-24) through it or recesses in the remainder of its edge into which at least one finger can be inserted to grip the disc. The disc is preferably circular and made from polished stainless steel between 1mm and 5mm, especially 2mm, thick. The holes or recesses can be basically round and arranged so as to correspond with finger spacings. The knife is used at a slight angle to the hand and roughly at right angles to the arm.
