A marine multi-hull work platform, characterized in that the work platform is of the SWATH type (Small Water Plane Area Twin Hull), comprising an above water portion (1; 11; 21; 31) consisting of a bridge structure having a deck and an optional superstructure, and an underwater portion consisting of two hull sections, where each hull section consists of one or more pontoons (4, 5; 14, 15; 24, 25; 34, 35) which are totally submerged and lie on the same axis or parallel axes, and whose total length is greater than the length of the work platform's above water portion, the total length being calculated as the length from the after end of the rearmost pontoon to the leading edge of the foremost pontoon, and that each pontoon (4, 5; 14, 15; 24, 25; 34, 35) is connected to the above water portion by at least one longitudinal web (2, 3; 12, 13; 22, 23; 32, 33) designed with a small water plane area. |
