The invention concerns a device for actively supporting the flow of body fluids, said device comprising an artificial flow guide system (10) with an operating area in which a pump (1) is embedded such that it can convey blood from at least one inlet opening (3) in the guide system to at least one outlet opening (4) therein. The device further comprises a flexible feed hose (5) connected to the flow guide system, and an energy or force-transmission line (6) guided through the interior of the flexible feed hose. When the device is in the operating state, energy or force is transferred substantially continuously by the energy or force-transmission pipe (6) to the pump from a drive unit for the extra-corporeal generation of this energy or force.
