A condensation laundry dryer has a closed process air circulation system and a cooling agent circulation in which the medium is circulated in a system with an evaporator (5), a compressor (6), a liquefier (7) and a throttle component (8). The cooling medium supply is controlled via the throttle component (8) in accordance with the temperature registered by a measuring device located on the cooling medium line between the evaporator (5) and the compressor (6). The device is preceded by a fan (10) for cooling the line.
