The device is three-dimensional and uses a radiation source (6) and a radiation detector (7) e.g. a CCD camera, positioned in the radiation field, with a matrix block (4) positioned between the source and the detector for weakening the radiation. The matrix block is provided with a material block (2) of given thickness, provided with strips (3) of a material with a different radiation weakening coefficient incorporated in the surface of the material block, with a fluorescent layer (10) on the opposite side of the material block facing the detector.
