The invention concerns a table-contact clip with a spring (11), comprising two arms (12, 13), designed to contact a cable (16, 17) and secure it in place. A particularly simple design having good contacting and securing capabilities and which is easy to operate is ensured by virtue of the fact that the end sections (14, 15) of the arms (12, 13) of the spring (11) are displaceable essentially parallel to each other and each end section has at least one bore (18, 19) in it.
