<p>A disk cartridge with a removable disk, comprising a case body (2) having a disk holding portion in which a disk (1) is rotatably held, and an opening which enables a disk motor and a pickup to be inserted into the disk holding portion; a shutter for opening and closing the opening of the case body (2); a disk port formed continuously in two adjacent walls of the case body (2), capable of passing a disk (1) therethrough and communicating with the disk holding portion; and a cover (17) supported pivotably on the case body (2) and adapted to close the disk port. A disk guide passage is formed so that, after the disk (1) has been moved in a predetermined range along the inner surfaces of the side walls of the case body (2) with the cover (17) in an opened state, it engages the cover (17), moves in a changed direction, and is discharged from the disk port.</p> |
