A clamping arrangement (10) comprises a reaction member (16). Mounting means (12, 14) extends from the reaction member (16). A movable member (18) is mounted on and is guided by the mounting means (12, 14). The mounting means defines an engagement member (12B, 14B) spaced from the reaction member (16). Urging means (24) is operable via the reaction member (16) to urge the movable member (18) and the engagement member (12B, 14B) towards each other. On placing an article between the movable member (18) and the engagement member (12B, 14B), operation of the urging means (24) causes the movable member (18) to clamp the article between the movable member (18) and the engagement member (12B, 14B). |
