FIELD: orthopedic stomatology. SUBSTANCE: control of treatment quality is effected by instantaneous recordings in dynamics and determining termination of treatment from agreement in obtained curves with reference ones. Previously, subjective declarations of patients and data on electromyography of masticatory muscles were used. From normalization of biopotentials in muscle, convalesce was judged of. Function of brain, as control system of organism, was ignored in spite of its being capable to send pathological impulses to masticatory muscles. In such event, functional activity of muscle is impaired and recurrence of disease arises. Method of invention makes it possible to detect simultaneously biopotentials of brain and masticatory muscle, to reveal their joint activity, and to establish presence of pathology in brain and muscle. Decisive recovery is considered to be synchronization of functionality of brain and masticatory muscle as well as that of right and left muscles, and absence of pathological impulses in brain and muscle. Duration of treatment is prolonged (to full normalization of brain and masticatory muscle functions), and number of disease recurrences is lowered. Method is approved on 98 patients: on the whole, 203 electroencephalograms and electromyograms were examined. Number of disease recurrences over two years is 12%, whereas with previously used electromyography control method their number was 72%. EFFECT: increased number of data recorded to more reliable control of treatment. |
