FIELD: surgery. SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises tubular casing (1,2) which houses spring (7)-urged lancet (8) and needle (17), beginning part of which is protected by cap (20) protruding beyond front end of casing. Device further comprises balance- type detent (9) made in form of part of cast casing (1,2). Detent (9) retains lancet (8) in retracted position as lancet is pushed back by protruding cap (20). Next cap can be removed by turning and pulling it away from lancet, thereby stopping rotation of lancet. Pressure onto detent (9) releases lancet (8) which advances under effect of spring (7) and liberates for single moment bare needle tip (19) which is then retracted into casing interior.
