<p>An underframe (10b [10a]) for forming a work table with a table top (46, 46', 46'), preferably a pallet. The building of the work table and the disassemblage thereof, where the underframe is taken care of for reuse purposes, should be carried out quickly and conveniently. To this end, the underframe (10b [10a]) comprises two identical underframe parts each consisting of a hoop-like body (12) having freely projecting, upright legs (14, 14') each carrying a holding means (20, 20') shaped to engage said table top (46, 46', 46') firmly when the legs (14, 14') are taking the operative positions thereof. Each underframe part carries a locking and bracing mechanism (16) for locking said legs (14, 14') in their operative positions and bracing the respective underframe part (10b), respectively, contributing to the achievement of a stable work table.</p> |
