The box consists a base portion (11) which has a lower rectangular base surface (110). It also has a lid (12) with a rectangular surface (120). The base surface is formed in one-piece with the lid surface for lateral stabilising of multi-layered stack of boxes. The box is made of a one-piece blank. The lid portion has a front edge (121) and two side edges (122,124) which protrude downwards and extend over a part of the base portion walls (111,112,114). At least one wall (111) of the base portion has an upper edge (119) which tilts inwards opposite its rim (16) at the base surface (110).
