An overlay (1) to be applied onto a substrate, having an anti-slip coating (4) or a surface (3) that prevents objects placed on it from slipping, is designed so that this overlay (1) strongly adheres to the substrate but can be removed therefrom without leaving any residue. Thus, the application side (5) of the overlay (1) is coated with an adhesive (6) and stuck onto the substrate therewith, using an adhesive (6) such that when the overlay (1) is striped from the substrate there is no residual adhesive (6) left sticking to the substrate. |
