FIELD: hydroponic growing of green feed plants, may be used in animal farming, poultry farming, fishery and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: plant growing unit has set of shelves, carts with pallets, mechanism for moving carts along shelves, vertical hoist with lifting platforms and platform guides, and mechanized hoist for loading unit with green feed plant growing material. Hoist has two vertical columns with guides and movable carriage provided with removable platform. Carts with pallets are moved and positioned on upper shelf by mechanized hoist.
