FIELD: molecular biology, hormones. SUBSTANCE: invention describes the isolated DNA molecules containing DNA fragment that encodes glucagon receptor. Invention describes also DNA containing the first DNA fragment encoding glucagon receptor linked with additional DNA fragments that are required for expression of the first DNA fragment and host-cells containing DNA constructions also. Invention provides method of detection of glucagon antagonists presence that involves: (a) contact of compound in the presence of glucagon agonist with recombinant glucagon receptor coupled with the response way under conditions and time that are sufficient for realizing the binding this compound with receptor and associated with this response linkage through the way and (b) detection of decrease in the response way stimulation caused by compound binding with glucagon receptor as compared with stimulation of the response way by one glucagon agonist and detection of the presence of glucagon antagonist. EFFECT: improved method of DNA construction.
