A china or porcelain bottle has an integrally moulded flange 3, to which is crimped a metal collar 10, of a finger pump spray unit 5, having a valve body 6, and a button 9. An elastomeric washer 12, and cosmetic sleeve 13, may also be provided. The top surface of the flange may be provided with an annular ridge or groove or a series thereof and the wall of the bottle may be thickened in the region of the neck and flange. Details of the china and porcelain compositions used are disclosed. The invention is specifically directed at solving the problems of manufacturing moulded china or porcelain perfume dispensing bottles. |
