A positive device of a magnetron having improved vane and strap ring structures is disclosed. In the positive device, a vane(12) has first grooves(15,15a) and second grooves(15',15a'). Inner strip rings(13,14) are inserted into the first grooves(15,15a). Outer strip rings(13',14') are inserted into the second grooves(15',15a'). The grooves(15a,15') each have a circular shape a diameter of which is shorter than or equal to that of a strip ring. The grooves(15,15a') each have a concave shape a diameter of which is longer than that of a strip ring.
