<p>As a recording and reproducing apparatus, synchronized recording and reproducing apparatus which can be simultaneously performed a recording operation for recording a video signal and/or an audio signal inputted via a transmission channel on a recording medium and a reproducing operation for reproducing the video signal and/or the audio signal recorded on the recording medium in parallel is controlled in communication with a controller. In addition, an instruction concerning the recording operation and the reproducing operation is inputted via a graphic user interface.
