The menu of various information to be offerable from relevant CD-i and to contain video tape drive function is outputted on monitor(14) by driving instruction from input unit offered with the mediation of user-interface(13). On the basis of this screen output, user selects menu through user-interface(13) by mouse or remote control. If selected menu is the input for the audio signal and video signal recorded in CD or CD-i disk(11), CPU(21) practices the driving of CD-i on the basis of the operating system saved in unvolatile RAM(23). CD control part(25) drives CD player(10) to read the information of menu selected from CD or CD-i disk(11).
