<p>The container e.g. for a food prod. such as a pate which is cooked and sold in the container (110), has side walls (111) and a base (112), and has its outer surface protected from splashes during cooking by a layer (130) of a supple, plastic film material which covers the outer surface of its side walls. The plastic film layer has one surface which adheres to the container and its two ends are joined together by thermal welding. It can have a means of peeling it from the container and it can be of a thermo-shrink material. The film layer and the container are made from polyethylene and polypropylene respectively.</p> |
