PURPOSE:To execute the correction of the dot defects before and after the assembly of the liquid crystal display panel with a light shielding film which does not damage the liquid crystal display panel, is thin and has a high light shielding property and the adhesiveness to the liquid crystal display panel in the technique of correcting the liquid crystal display panel by converting a normally light transmission dot defect to a normally light non-transmission dot defect. CONSTITUTION:The light shielding film formed by dispersing a metal, such as Ti of several tens microns or graphite of <=1 micron into an epoxy resin having the high strength of adhesion to substrates or polarizing plates is stuck by transfer or printing to the position where the light transmitted through the display electrode of the normally light transmission dot defect of the liquid crystal display panel transmits the substrates or polarizing plate of the liquid crystal display device. |
