A stand for a wheeled vehicle comprises a frame to which is pivotably mounted a first wheel engagement member 37 positioned in the path of a wheel entering the stand and pivotable by the wheel to cause the engagement member 37 to come into contact with a rear surface of that wheel as the wheel enters and moves into the stand. The front of the wheel then locates within a second engagement member 24. The stand may be wheel-mounted to enable vehicles to be transported.
