<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dental wax composition capable of manifesting stable performances by combining respective ingredients of a specific methacrylate or acrylate with a photopolymerization initiator, a reducing agent, a specified metallic oxide, a specific surfactant and a specified wax in respective amounts. SOLUTION: This photo-setting type dental wax composition is obtained by combining a methacrylate or an acrylate having at least one ethylenically unsaturated double bond (40-75wt.%) with a photopolymerization initiator (0.01-5wt.%), a reducing agent (0.1-5wt.%), a metallic oxide having 2.0-3.0 refractive index with the sodium D-line (0.1-0.4wt.%), a nonionic surfactant (0.5-6wt.%) and one or more selected from among animal and vegetable waxes, mineral waxes, petroleum-based waxes and synthetic waxes (20-60wt.%). The composition is capable of uniformly providing the curing and excellent in curability, has slight reflection and transmission of light and hardly wears eyes even by performing operations for a long time without causing the color staining on an abutment tooth model and is excellent in operating efficiency. Furthermore, the composition is excellent even in preservation stability, that is, an ideal one.</p> |
