PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and anchor performance by fitting a lock-type anchor, having retreated and held plural pieces of lock balls with a lock pin in a sleeve after boring a locking recess hole in the lower part of an anchor hole, in this anchor hole, projecting these lock balls from the sleeve, and fitting them into the locking recess hole. SOLUTION: An anchor hole 1 is bored in a concrete floor and a rock bed S with a drill or the like, and a drilling machine is tilted (α) to this anchor hole 1 and rotated, drilling a locking recess hole 2 in a lower inner wall of the anchor hole 1 with bits 5g and 6g of rods 5f and 6f. Next, a retreating groove 12a of a lock pin 12 screwed in a sleeve 11 of a lock-type anchor 10 is matched with a fitting hole 11a, and two lock balls 15 in this fitting hole 11a are attracted by an attracting magnetic member 16, retreating and holding them in the fitting hole, and then this anchor 10 is fitted in the anchor hole 1. When the pin 12 is screwed in a square hole 13, the balls 15 are properly projected out of the fitting hole 11a through a lock peripheral surface 12b, and thus they are fitted in the recess hole 2, so that the anchor 10 is easily lockable to the anchor hole 1.
