PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermosensitive recording material with a good preservative stability by incorporating a salicylic acid derivative and derivative metallic salt represented in a specific formula as an electron acceptable compound, and further containing a compound and its metallic salt represented by a specific formula. SOLUTION: The thermosensitive recording material is prepared by incorporating salicylic acid derivative represented by formula I and derivative metallic salt as an electron acceptable compound and also incorporating a compound represented by formula II and metallic salt of the compound. In the formula, X1 -X4 represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aralkyl group, and aryl group or halogen group respectively, and Y1 -Y4 represent an oxygen atom or sulfur atom respectively, R1 , R3 represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, and aralkyl group or aryl group respectively, and R2 , R4 , R5 represent an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, and an aralkyl group or aryl group respectively, and (n) is 0 or 1. |
