PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator which enables a user to judge before ride whether its car serves for his/her destination floor or not and to reach the destination floor as a result without changing elevators or using another elevating means. SOLUTION: In a double deck elevator operated with upper and lower cars connected to each other in one elevator shaft or in a signal deck elevator having service floors with level differences in the same bank, car designating buttons 5 and 6 which are installed in each elevator hall to designate either the upper car or the lower car and call registering buttons 3 and 4 which enables the registration of call for the direction of a destination floor to utilize are provided. |
