PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathroom which is easy to use for the aged. SOLUTION: A long shelf extending from a part above a bathtub 2 to a part above a washing place is provided on the wall surface 10 of a bathroom 1. A bather can use things placed on the shelf from either of the bathtub side or the washing place side with ease. He can hold on to the shelf when he goes into or out of the bathroom. Even shaky persons like the aged can bathe safely and easily without being forced to take an unstable posture. |
