PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the quality of the life of a person who needs care by furnishing an accommodator under a bed, installing therein a plurality of boxes, and picking them up using motor-driven, self-mobile pallets operated in combination of vertical and horizontal motions. SOLUTION: A space under a bed 3 is arranged as an accommodator, and there a plurality of accommodation boxes 1 are arranged. The boxes 1 are laid in two rows, and an automatic pallet driven by a motor is moved between the rows. A tower 2 is furnished to transport vertically each box 1 transported by the automatic pallet. Under a command of electronic control the pallet picks up the specific box 1 and transports it in the horizontal direction. This is followed by a vertical transportation and stopping at the top of the tower 2. |
