Disclosed is an apparatus for a digital piano. The apparatus comprises a barcode reading means, a data converter, a system controller and a synthesizer. The barcode reading means scans a barcode of music to read a barcode signal. The data converter converts the barcode signal into a digital signal, and provides the digital signal to a RAM. The system controller provides a control signal to the data converter, and controls reading the music data from the RAM and storing to the RAM. The synthesizer converts the music data from the RAM into an analog signal, and synthesizes the analog signals for an output. Thereby, the apparatus has a simple structure, and is convenient to use.
