PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a Septoria sp. JTTA-632 strain capable of manifesting the pathogenicity against plants belonging to the genus Eclipta capable of selectively killing weeds such as Eclipta alba HASSK or suppressing the growth thereof without polluting or destroying the environment and controlling the Eclipta alba HASSK without affecting crops such as rice plants. SOLUTION: This microorganism is a Septoria sp. JTTA-632 strain which is an aerobic one, belonging to the genus Septoria and capable of manifesting the pathogenicity against weeds such as plants belonging to the genus Eclipta and has a deposit number of FERM BP-5179, and a herbicide comprising the strain as an active ingredient is obtained. Furthermore, the herbicide is preferably used to carry out the control of weeds. |
