SOLUTION: A compact made of amorphous stock glass is crystallized by hot isostatic pressing to obtain the objective glass ceramic compact. The pressure at the time of the hot isostatic pressing is preferably regulated to 300-2,000kg/cm<2> . This glass ceramic compact is useful as the material of a substrate for a magnetic disk, a magnetic head slider, an electronic circuit board, etc. |
