PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly and rationally mount an ultrasonic probe by simplifying the configuration of a rotating angle detecting mechanism for detecting an ultrasonic scanning direction by providing the rotating angle detecting mechanism on the opposite side of a pulley arrangement position with a supporting board inbetween. SOLUTION: A hollow rotary shaft 40 is provided successively to a pulley 34 and a rotary operating knob 45 is connected to the rotary shaft 40. When the rotary operating knob 45 is rotationally operated, a rotary body is rotated and the scanning direction of an ultrasonic transducer is changed. In order to detect this ultrasonic scanning direction, an encoder 53 is arranged in a chamber 36b and inserted to a supporting board 38, its input shaft 55 is faced inside the hollow rotary shaft 40, and a transmission shaft 56 is inserted to this hollow rotary shaft 40. When the operating knob 45 is operated and the ultrasonic transducer is rotated by engaging a projected wire 57 provided at the lower end part of the transmission shaft 56 with a minus groove 55a of the input shaft 55, the rotation is transmitted to the input shaft 55 of the encoder 53. |
