PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To forcibly actuate an occupant protecting device for a vehicle by means of simple work safely and easily in a state that the device is mounted on the vehicle. SOLUTION: An opening 62 is arranged in a cover 34 for a vehicle occupant protecting device 32, and through the opening 62, a joint connector 52 provided with a lead wire 51 to be connected to an inflater 38 can be taken out to the outside of the cover 34, so that a forced operation power source 70 can be connected to the joint connector 52 on the outside of the cover 34 (1). The inflater side joint connector 52 is integrally installed in a lid body 64 which is removably mounted in the opening 62 part, in the cover 34 (2). |
