PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wrong judgement of the gear-in state by forcedly judging the no-load state only during a fixed time even if a start judgement timing and an actual starter behavior timing do not agree and a no-load signal shows the gear-in state. SOLUTION: When a starter is turned off, a no-load switch 19 is put in the ON state and a starter switch is put in the OFF state, so that no-load potential is earthed and a no-load signal NL input to CPU in ECU 10A becomes a low level. Accordingly, the CPU (a shift judging means 23 and a gear-in judging means 25A) judges that a no-load signal NL shows a low level, and the gear-in judging means 25A clears the counter value to zero. Accordingly, at the time of starting an engine, according to the counter set value, non-gear in state is forcedly judged regardless of the level of the no-load signal NL (input potential of CPU) so as to prevent wrong judgement. |
