FORMATION OF BOND LAYER OF PROSTHETIC TOOTH AND PROSTHETIC TOOTH HAVING THIS BOND LAYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improved working efficiency by applying powder metal consisting essentially of Au as a bonding opaque material on metal and porcelain in bonding both, adhering ceramic grains to the surface of this bonding opaque material and simultaneously firing both. SOLUTION: The bond surfaces of the base material metal 1 which functions as a core material and an intermediate layer 3 are formed as the mingled boundary faces (a) by, for example, welding. The bond surfaces of the porcelain layer 2 and the intermediate layer 3 are formed as the bond layers (b) tangled with each other. The power metal consisting essentially of the Au is applied as the bonding opaque material on the metal 1 and the porcelain 2 in bonding both and the ceramic grains are adhered on the surface of the bonding opaque material. Both are then fired simultaneously. The intermediate layer stably and securely bonds to both of the base material metal and the porcelain and are capable of expressing diversified color tones, thereby contributing to the improvement in the aesthetic property. Further, the generation of air bubbles in the boundaries between the metal and the porcelain is prevented while suppressing the release of the gases in the metal and correcting the defects of the metal.
