PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device to prevent occurrence of wear even when oscillation occurs to a rotation part during operation and prevent the damage of a floating function due to constraint. SOLUTION: A gap between an impeller shaft and a seal ring 1 is increased to a value higher than a gap 7 between the outer peripheral part of a seal ring 1 and a pump casing 3 and a gap between an impeller shaft and the seal ring 1 is increased to a value higher than an oscillation amount during operation of an impeller shaft. Further, a part 5A protruded sideways and a side making contact with the groove 13 of the pump casing 3 is formed at the outer peripheral part of the seal ring 1. The inside diameter 8 of the part 5A is increased to a value higher than the inside diameter 9 of the vicinity of the groove 13 of a pump casing 3 to contain the seal ring 1 of the pump casing 3. |
