PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer incorporated in an apparatus used outdoors in many cases such as a handy terminal apparatus and equipped with a dust preventing mechanism cutting off dust penetrating from the gap between a paper feed knob and a housing. SOLUTION: A printer has a housing 6 consisting of upper and lower structures 61, 62 and having a bearing hole 63 provided on the connection part of the upper and lower structures 61, 62, a rubber roller 2 equipped with rotary shafts 21 at least one of which pierces a bearing hole 63 at the end part thereof, a rotary body wherein the journal part 71 fitted to the rotary shaft 21 of the rubber roller 2 is supported in a freely revolvable manner by the bearing hole 63 and a dust preventing mechanism cutting off dust penetrating into the housing through a gap. The dust preventing mechanism consists of at least one disc- shaped wall 74 formed on the journal part 71 of the rotary body and at least one circular groove 64 formed in the bearing hole 63 and a disc-shaped wall 74 is housed in the circular groove 64 in a freely revolvable manner. |
