<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper handling device which can fold a sheet tightly and an image forming device provided with it. SOLUTION: A sheet (S) is folded selectively one time or more by folding means 238, 239 to be a predetermined size and the folded part 251A of the sheet (S) is pressed again by pressing means 246, 247 disposed in a transfer path 240 through which the sheet (S) is transferred to a receiving plate such that it is tightly folded. Since the pressing means 246, 247 comprise a pair of rollers and are disposed in a nearly straight path 240 for discharging paper, when the sheet is folded two times or more, the front end and folding part of the sheet are passed the pressing means 246, 247 at the same time, thereby not making the other folding line on the folded part.</p> |
