PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve picture quality in the case of displaying an image having no real-time property by increasing the number of interpolating points by lowering a rate frequency and prolonging time during raster reading when displaying the image having no real-time property. SOLUTION: When an ultrasonic pulse is outputted from a transmission/ reception part 2, an ultrasonic signal is transmitted from a probe 1 to a reagent, and a reflected ultrasonic echo signal is received at the probe 1. Then, the ultrasonic echo signal is written in a frame memory 17 and stored in a memory 12 after processing such as A/D conversion, envelope detection and orthogonal detection is performed at a preprocess part 3. When writing ultrasonic raw image data stored in the memory 12 into a buffer memory 15 in the case of displaying the image such as a freeze image having no real-time property, the rate frequency to be decided by a CPU 13 at the time of writing data in the frame memory 17 is lowered and the time during raster is prolonged so that the number of interpolating points can be increased. |
