PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obturator capable of infusion under the prevention of the inverse flow or coagulation of blood in a catheter or the like indwelt in a blood vessel. SOLUTION: This obturator is formed out of a fit-in part 11 internally fitted into a catheter indwelt in a blood vessel for closing a flow passage, a Luer-Lok cap 12 laid at one end of the fit-in part 11 and secured under engagement with the base end of the catheter, and a connection tube 4 formed to the continuous to the Luer-Lok cap 12. In addition, the fit-in part 11 is formed to have a lumen 11a communicating with the connection tube 4, in such a state as having an inner diameter R2 suitable for the flow rate of a chemical infusion route as well as a size suitable for preventing the inverse flow and subsequent coagulation of blood. |
