PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy the releasability of a thermally melting ink layer and the fasteness of transferred images, by providing a release layer containing a wax- like silicone oil, between the substrate sheet and the thermally melting ink layer. SOLUTION: The wax component contained in a release layer has a melt viscosity less than about 15cP, and a dropping point based on ASTM D-3104 of about 98 deg.C. A resin or the like, such as an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, an ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer, polyethylene, petroleum resin and the like, is added to the release layer. The compounding percentage of the wax component and a wax-like silicone oil is about 20-99wt.% of the release layer. The compounding percentage of the resin or the like is about 1-20wt.% of the release layer. If the thickness of the release layer is within a range between about 0.001μm or greater and less than about 0.5μm, the transfer sensitivity will further improve. |
