PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-color recording material with a good raw preservability having a wide developable hue and extremely less discoloration in the uncolored part being affected by external environmental conditions such as heat and humidity. SOLUTION: The recording material has on the base material a thermosensitive coupling layer of two layers or more that develop colors into tones different from one another, and at least one layer among thermosensitive coupling layers contains as an oxidation coupling leuco dyes a diazo compound and at least one kind selected from 8-diethylamino-11-(2-methoxycarbonylphenyl) benzo[a]xanthene, 8-diethylamino-11-(2-methoxycarbonylphenyl)benzo[a]xanthene, and 8-diethylamino-11-(2-butoxycarbonylphenyl)benzo[a]xanthene. |
