<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet handling device which can control the vibration and the noises of a sheet receiving plate and use a compact motor, and an image forming device provided with it. SOLUTION: A plurality of sheet receiving plates for receiving discharged sheets are engaged with a plurality of horizontal parts 16A1 of a helical cam formed at the peripheral surface of a plurality of supporting columns and held in an up and down direction and a sheet is discharged by a sheet discharging means to the sheet receiving plates held at a predetermined position 162 of the supporting column. The sheets receiving plates locked with the horizontal part 16A1 are moved up and down to the horizontal part 16A1 responsive to the predetermined position 162 along slant parts 16A2, 16A3 connecting horizontal parts 16A1 by synchronously rotating a plurality of supporting columns. Moreover, the amount of slant of the slant parts 16A2, 16A3 is made smaller by shortening the length of the horizontal part 16A1 for locking the other sheet receiving plate, as compared with the length of the horizontal part 16A1 responsive to the predetermined position 162.</p> |
