PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain delustered viscose rayon, having excellent spinnability and hardly containing abnormal fibers by adding an aqueous solution containing dispersed titanium dioxide particles by using sodium hydroxide as a part of viscose composition as a dispersant. SOLUTION: Titanium dioxide is dispersed in an aqueous solution containing sodium hydroxide under stirring. The resultant dispersion is then added to a viscose spinning solution, blended and dispersed therein and the prepared spinning solution is spun. The content of the sodium hydroxide in the aqueous solution containing the dispersed titanium dioxide is 0.01-0.1wt.%, preferably 0.02-0.08wt.%. The spinning can stably be performed without causing spinning nozzle clogging, etc., and abnormal fibers such as fiber breakage or sticking are hardly produced. |
