PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the development of unevenness of heating by preventing a male screw part applied with a tempering treatment from being cooled with cooling liquid. SOLUTION: A heat treatment device is provided with an induction heating coil 46 applying the tempering treatment by heating the male screw part 16 of a screw member 12 to a prescribed temp., a cooling mechanism 50 for cooling a ball form-rolling groove 14 by spouting the cooling liquid into the ball form- rolling groove 14 at the time of heating the male screw part 16 with the induction heating coil 46 and a ring body 54 for preventing entering of the cooling liquid to a part of the screw member 12 applied with the tempering treatment.
